Since 2016, the Balthasar Children's and Youth Hospice Foundation has been audited annually by the German Central Institute for Social Issues and awarded the DZI donation seal. This proves that the foundation handles the funds entrusted to it carefully and responsibly.

We undertake to make the following ten pieces of information available to the public and to keep them up to date:

  5. Corporate affiliation with third parties

    • The purpose of the foundation is realised in particular through the promotion and support of the Balthasar inpatient hospice for children and young people in Olpe.

    • The Balthasar Foundation holds a 26% stake in the company Vinzenz Pallotti Hospital GmbH, based in Bensberg. There are no financial effects due to the participation in the form of income or expenditure.

  6. Names of persons whose annual payments account for more than 10% of the total annual budget
    There are currently no individuals whose annual payments account for more than 10% of the total annual budget.

The Balthasar Children's and Youth Hospice Foundation wishes to conduct itself properly in all areas and thus be a professional and trustworthy partner for all parties involved. To this end, it has set up whistleblower reporting channels. The background to this is the European Whistleblower Directive. The aim of the directive is to uncover and prevent possible illegal acts (breaches of the law) within the organisation.

The Balthasar Children's and Youth Hospice Foundation has set up the following reporting channels, which enable people to report and provide information on illegal activities.
